No âmbito das atividades da Missão Cancro a conferência “Addressing the Needs of Young Cancer Survivors” visa .chamar a atenção á qualidade de vida dos sobreviventes oncológicos na infância, adolescência e juventude, criando um espaço seguro onde eles poderão partilhar suas experiências.
Too many young people affected by cancer are still facing the negative impact on their physical and mental health as well as education and employment opportunities in the long-term.This event, a first of its kind, will help further shape initiatives around cancer survivorship and youth. By offering the opportunity for young cancer survivors from all Member States to interact with each other, as well as stakeholders and representatives from EU institutions, the conference intends to raise their voices and empower them to shape the R&I agenda.
